This Privacy Policy explains how TripScribe (the “App”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. The current version of TripScribe does not use iCloud or any third‑party OAuth sign‑in, and does not upload your data to a server. Your app data is stored locally on your device only.

• No account data: You don’t need to create an account or log in.
• On‑device data: Trips, notes, and photo indices you create are stored on your device, or exported manually by you.

How We Use Information

• To provide offline features on your device (generate daily travel journals, organize media and places, etc.).
• Data does not leave your device unless you choose to export or back it up.

Cookies & Tracking

We do not use analytics tracking or non‑essential cookies. For a web build, minimal technical cookies may be used to provide core functionality.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share data with third parties unless required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Data Retention

All content is stored on your device. If you delete the App or its data, the content is removed. You may export or back up your data at any time.
